Rationale

  1. Provide coordination for a research agenda for Toronto’s Afrikan community.
  2. Provide a clear Afrikan centred research framework for scholarly and non-scholarly research
  3. Conduct and make available to the public, Tabono- initiated research
  4. Provide archive of research projects/publications concerning Toronto’s Afrikan community
  5. Provide an Afrikan centered response to public policy and other research affecting the Afrikan Canadian community
  6. Promote advocacy, capacity building abilities, community planning, community programming and leadership through research
